The regional family fitness tour is back and it returns to The Boulevard at The Capital Centre in Largo, Maryland this Saturday from 1 to 4:30 p.m. This edition of Get Kids Movin' will focus on getting kids fit both physically and mentally for the fall season. Get Kids Movin' was founded by 10-year-old Recording Artist Chi Chi Monet and Think Brown INK, a social responsibility branding agency, as a way to encourage youth to get active to end childhood obesity. Get Kids Movin’ features a full afternoon of activity from hip-hop dance, family workouts, zumba fitness and much more. Parents can also register their children for training and extracurricular activities. The event is co-sponsored by Sports Zone Elite.

What should you expect?
A music performance by Chi Chi Monet, hip-hop dance class with Lelabelle’s Studio of Dance, movement and “Edutainment” from Beans-n-frank puppet duo, zumba fitness with Kena Hodges, arts and acting by We Make Dreams Work, Inc., a family workout with Celebrity Nike Trainer Deanna Jefferson, and an awesome kids fashion show to end the day presented by Sports Zone Elite with Angelic Expressions models.
