Meet Tyrone - He has a carefree and unique sense of style. With just a brief introduction, you will immediately notice his personal style. He really holds true the diversity of style we have here in Capitol Hill. Much like his personality, his clothes are filled with frivolity and color.
When asked what he looks for when he gets dressed, he said, “Texture, I like different types of texture,” which holds true as he adorns textures like wool knits and soft corduroy. Like much of Capitol Hill, Tyrone represents a sense of independent style. He wears it with confidence and pride.
Tyrone carried a beautiful honey-brown leather bag contrasted with vintage picnic-red plaid that complemented his ensemble well. When asked what brand it was, he replied by saying, "It’s actually a picnic bag," and he left the thermos at home.
Capitol Hill is filled with wonderful personalities like Tyrone. The men on Capitol Hill speak with their own sense of style, and they all tend to hold confidence. Capitol Hill is this little patch in the city of Seattle where fashion blooms in different styles. Bold, fearless men walk the streets of this part of the city, but that doesn’t have to be it. Layering
One thing you’ll notice about Tyrone’s outfit is the detail in layer. Each layer has it’s own texture and separate color. By staying with complimenting colors like red and blue but in different tones than it should be easy to find the right clothes. Make sure to wear sweaters with lively patterns, but make sure you keep stripes away from polka dots so things don’t get messy. Tyrone is wearing corduroys, but since we’re in spring it’s best to work with chinos. And to give a trendy feel you can roll the hem up to one inch above the ankle. Any more than that and it becomes a little showy. Think bright colors when putting this outfit together.
Confidence
Many guys try and stay away from the bag, because it’s “too feminine” and such but it’s a really big trend now and you will soon find out that it’s so helpful. This look is also best attained through the thrift store, especially when it comes to sweaters. And one last thing, is confidence - Tyrone wouldn’t be able to pull this outfit off with such finesse without his confidence. Stay classy.
