Leave the candy to Cupid, and make this Valentine’s Day a healthier one for you and your loved ones with a run to commemorate the February 14 holiday.

Valentine Fun Run 2013 (Feb. 9 at 9 a.m.) Campbell Park, Campbell: Now in its 36th year, the event has become a community tradition with more than 1000 participants in the 10K and 5K runs along the Campbell Par Course and Los Gatos Creek Trails

2013 Love 'em or Leave 'em Valentine's Day Dash (Feb. 10 at 9 a.m.) Golden Gate Park, San Francisco: Individuals and two-person teams will compete in a festive Valentine's themed 5K event, complete with a “Tunnel of Love” with signs of encouragement, plus a post-race beer garden
