This summer you can get in free to fun locations around Albuquerque if you know how and when to visit. This is part of a promotion by Jackie, Tony and Donnie in the Morning from 100.03 The Peak. They are returning with their Free Summer Roadshows that get listeners in free while they're broadcasting live at certain locations. The difficult part is that you have to be an early riser as free admission is usually only between 6am-10am on promotion days. It is also very popular so you should probably not get there right before ten if you actually want to get in free. They are collecting canned goods and non-perishables for the Roadrunner Food Bank to feed kids in New Mexico. It is unclear whether you are required to bring a donation in order to enter, but is a kind gesture to do so anyway. In order to get the latest updates about when and where Jackie, Tony and Donnie will be, check out their facebook page for more information.
The fun begins June 6th and runs until August 8th. They've kicked off by broadcasting at The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science on June 6th. However if you've missed this event, see here to see how you can still go to the dinosaur museum on a regular basis for free. They will then visit the ABQ BioPark Aquarium and Botanic Garden on Friday, June 20th. Followed by the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History June 27th which an underrated museum that is actually pretty interesting and has a fun science experiments section you won't want to miss. They are broadcasting live at the ABQ BioPark Zoo on July 3rd. On July 14th The Free Summer Roadshow will have the biggest attraction at the Hotel Cascada WaterPark-an Urban Resort where you can surf on the Flowrider, go down the water slide and more. Be sure to get there at the beginning of a session. Sessions run 6-7:45 or 8-9:45 because you will have to leave at the end of the session you go for. You can have fun at Hinkle Family Fun Center on July 25th and go to Rollerskate City on August 21st. The last free location will take place on August 8th at Explora! Science Center and Children's Museum.
