If you are the parent of a college-bound student, Central Virginia Community College is offering a workshop you won't want to miss.
Super Saturday will be held on Saturday, February 4 from 10am-noon in Merritt Hall at CVCC. The event is hosted by CVCC and The Virginia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.
The FAFSA process determines if a student is eligible for federal financial aid. A FAFSA application is also required by all colleges and universities ro receive aid from the individual school.
The event includes a financial aid workshop and questions will be answered. Students and parents will need to bring:
- US Department of Education PIN
- Social Security Numbers of student and parents
- Driver's License of student
- 2011 Federal Tax Returns of student and parents or
- 2011 tax information
- Student's and family's untaxed income records
- Student's and family's current bank statements
- Student's and family's business records
- Student's and family's investment records
