In honor of its 50th anniversary, the Kennedy Space Center is offering discounted annual passes for 50 days. The passes are being priced at $50, down from the normal $56 rate. The annual passes include access to the Kennedy Space Center and Astronaut Hall of Fame; special exhibits such as the Mars Rover exhibit; discounts on merchandise, food and single-day tickets; and other benefits.
Annual passes can be purchased online at the Kennedy Space Center website; by phone by calling 1-866-737-5235 or at the Space Center. The discounted rate will be available through March 7th, 2012.
The Kennedy Space Center is also still running its special Up-Close tour which include a stop in the Vehicle Assembly Building. The tour is expected to run until at least the summer- after that, whether the tour keeps running will depend on whether the building is needed for other projects.
