Underbelly was founded in 2010 as a unique space in the Five Points neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida. Hidden away behind boutique clothing store Anomaly, Underbelly grew into its own entity. Hosting live music, DJ sets, art exhibitions, BBQs, among other things, Underbelly was a thriving venue hidden behind the storefronts, graced by the coverage of an oak tree.
But Underbelly soon had to move. And all was silent for a year. But Underbelly was not defined by the space it was located in. Underbelly is a life force, an entity that is shared by all of those who spent many nights under the oak tree and stars. Now located in the heart of downtown Jacksonville, at the base of the Main Street Bridge, Underbelly is a top-notch music venue continuing the warmth and love that made Underbelly so special to so many.
