Whether she's a catwalk queen or a beach bombshell, Kate Upton reigns as the supremely sizzling stylish supermodel. Kate's secret weapon, celebrity trainer and wellness expert David Kirsch, revealed her secrets to Access Hollywood. He has also trained Heidi Klum and is the author of "The Ultimate New York Body Plan: Just 2 weeks to a total transformation" (click for details).

So Kate could rock her role in "The Other Woman," David says that he increased "the intensity and duration of the workouts, making it a strict cardio and sculpting boot camp that entailed body weights and resistance bands, sprinting and calisthenics, shadow and kick boxing." He's created a home version of his boot camp in the fitness DVD: "The Ultimate New York Body Plan."

Kate was already in great shape, praises David. "For Kate, she already has an amazing, very feminine body, so I just want to tighten everything up to keep her in top shape. To focus on her abs, we did planks on stability ball, stability ball knee tucks and hanging knee raises, and lots of medicine ball tosses with crunches – so she would crunch up, I would toss the ball to her, she would catch it and crunch back down. Then, on the next crunch up, she would throw the ball back to me and we would repeat." We say "Ouch."

As for the ideal diet to sleekify that sizzling shape? David says Kate followed his own diet plan, which is detailed in his weight loss book "The Ultimate New York Body Plan: Just 2 weeks to a total transformation":

She followed my ABC’s—no Alcohol, Bread, or processed Carbs, and also no sugar. She ate clean, lean protein, lots of salads and greens, and avoided everything processed. She ate small portions five times a day, roughly every three hours. Obviously, this isn’t always how she eats, but before filming, she follows it very strictly.

David's not alone in advocating avoiding processed carbohydrates and sugar. Celebrity fitness trainer Vinnie Tortorich also believes in what he calls the "No Sugar No Grains" lifestyle. Get information about how to make it work for you, including tips on tightening and toning for torching fat, in his book "Fitness Confidential."
