As we've talked about before, flowers are a beautiful way to show someone you care. This time you can share the beauty with your loved one and with 11 new friends this month.
On September 11th, starting at 7 a.m. Beretania Florist at 1293 S. Beretania Street will be giving away roses by the dozens. It's in honor of the 19th annual Good Neighbor Day, which is acknowledged every year at floral shops nationwide as a way of celebrating goodwill toward all people for FREE. The only catch is you can only keep one rose, and have to give away the rest.
“We hope that the people of Honolulu will be able to get acquainted with new people or will renew an old friendship during FTD Good Neighbor Day,” said Nakamoto Farinas of Beretania Florist in a news release. “We hope to help create a friendlier, more caring and compassionate world, starting right here in Honolulu.”
So go out and spread a little Aloha to your friends, family, new friends and your significant other.
