Warner Brothers and NetherRealm Studio's released a new video for their upcoming fighting game "Injustice: Gods Among Us" that focuses on Superman's arch nemesis, Lex Luthor. Narrated by Luthor himself, we're able to grasp the game's story as the villain hints at his role in the mysterious organization known as “the regime”.

"Most people join the Regime for one of two reasons. Either they hope we can establish a world of peace, or they were simply too afraid to take a stand."

This bold new fighting game from the makers of Mortal Kombat introduces an original story that includes a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Nightwing, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, the Joker and many more. The characters will fall between two classes: power characters and gadget characters. The power types are those who use brute force and strength to take down their opponents as opposed to the gadget characters who rely on external mechanisms.

The "Injustice: Gods Among Us" Collector’s Edition ($99.99) will be available in the United States and includes an exclusive DC Collectibles statue, free comic book, a digital download of the DC Universe animated film Justice League: Doom, and three exclusive skins based on the New 52.

"Injustice: Gods Among Us" will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U on April 16 in North America and April 19 in Europe.
