Many people in Richmond Virginia and the surrounding cities are spending more money shopping on the internet than ever. But did you know there is a safe way to automatically save 1%-1.5% on every purchase, and you don't even need to spend your money online to get the discount. What are we talking about? This is not a credit card!
Unfortunately for many, credit allows you to buy things that you may not otherwise buy. We are talking here about saving 1%-1.5% on everything you purchase in Richmond Virginia, whether on the internet or not.
Many people have heard of PayPal, but few people are taking advantage of what PayPal offers. PayPal allows you to get an account there, like a bank. But PayPal is NOT a bank. PayPal is a payment processor, and what they allow you to do is use their services to safely buy things online. But PayPal also offers a debit card that can be linked to your PayPal account, which pays you cash back 1% to 1.5% on every purchase that you make with your PayPal card that is processed as credit.
Last month several folks got paid $50 or more for the month for using the PayPal debit card. It is an invaluable tool. PayPal also allows you to add your Richmond based bank account to your PayPal account as an overdraft protection. So what this allows is continued use of your PayPal debit card, with transactions being debited from your bank account. The Idea here is to run as many transactions through PayPal as you can to earn the maximum rebate every month.
PayPal is safe and secure, and is by far the largest payment processor in the world. PayPal was started out by a few younger folks, for years eBay tried to compete with PayPal to no avail. eBay gave up the fight and decided it would be best for their business long term by just buying PayPal out. So PayPal is now and has been for a while owned by eBay, which is one of the most reputable and trustworthy online auction companies there is, so you know you can trust them with your money. PayPal and eBay as so main stream now that even Microsoft has added their company names into the spell checking for their word processors, so when you type Paypal and Ebay, Microsoft says you are making an error and it should be PayPal and eBay for correct capitalization.
PayPal is NOT just for paying for everything everywhere and saving money on everything, but they also offer Credit Card Merchant Accounts, and they have a nifty PayPal buy now button and shopping cart you can use on your website, for free without getting the PayPal merchant account.
Of course if people pay you with a credit card, PayPal does charge a very reasonable and competitive fee, with excellent prompt customer service where you can actually call and talk to a human, is very hard to beat.
As an alternative for shopping online, especially for digital goods there is the developing PayBox which can be found online @ the PayBox website. If you join now they are offering $25 free to try the service out. Keep in mind though that their $ denominations are not represented in USD or any other currency. It is an online virtual currency. But it can be used to buy things from select merchants.
