Since time long humans have domesticated  dogs not just for their easy domestication but also as a faithful friends. I am not an expert on the benefits of pet dogs in our day to day life,I am sure as a dog owners know for themselves how their dog can help them.Well but have you that  the pet dog can also good to keep you healthy.

New studies recently has confirmed that dogs can be powerful motivators to get their owners moving. The director or human animal interaction research center at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary medicine Rebecca A.Johnson comments “You need to walk,and so does your dog”. Now you would consider this walks not that equal to an exercise regime but alas no that is wrong. The researchers from Michigan State University reported that among dog owners who their dogs to walk around 60% met the federal criteria for regular moderate exercise.

So what does that means is that for dog owners no more spending on gym( How to save on gym membership ),no more need for treadmill, just have a nice pet dog in your house. Walk with it, play with it , spend some quality time with it, health would  be knocking on your door steps.
