According to Facebook: Greenville County Pet Rescue, this beauty will run out of time at the high-kill upstate shelter on May 17. She absolutely must be gone by May 19. This means the shelter may kill at any time after Monday. More information can be found on this Facebook thread.

Gertrude is a 1-year-old yellow tabby. This in itself is unusual, because most ginger cats are males.

Beautiful Gertrude is healthy and friendly. She desperately needs someone to speak up for her at the Greenville, South Carolina shelter.
