Sara is trying her best to wiggle out of the shelter enclosure at East Valley Care and Control located in Van Nuys, California. The one-and-a-half-year-old black and brown female German shepherd is a favorite young gal except no one has come for her yet, and she's been at the shelter too long.

Meet Sara; this 67 pound little girl wants a home. Only one person has shared her story.

Sara was picked up as a stray on July 10, and her story has only been told a few times. This dog is just beautiful and deserves a home and a yard where she can run, jump and be with her very own family. Please share her story with your friends, family and coworkers. Sharing saves lives. Pass this story on to a friend; it only takes one special family to grant Sara a wonderful future.

Click here for the Facebook thread dedicated to Sara. Sadly, Sara's story has only been shared once.
