A German Shepherd named Dragster in Canton, OH is crying for his previous owners but its falling on deaf ears. The shelter is full and the dog's time is running out. Eventually the dog will be euthanized to make room for other strays and surrendered pets. Despite being networked over 3000 times, no one has come forward to foster or adopt him. His details are as follows from Petfinder:

Dragster is a stray in Canton, OH who is crying for his owners.

Picked up as a stray on 1/17. Available on 1/21. Dragster is a handsome Shepherd, stocky guy, beautiful clean looking coat. He is beside himself with worry, he wants his family, and he wants to go home. Dragster will go to the back of the outside pen, stand and whine...looking for something familiar, hoping his family hears him. He melts one's heart pretty quick. He is friendly, but so unsure of where he is, and why. Dragster walks pretty good while on the leash, seems to be well mannered. Sadly Dragster has no ID, and no one has called inquiring about him. Help this good boy find his home, or consider making your home is home too! $86.00 fee includes license, 4 way shot, Bordetella vaccine, flea treatment if necessary. Some dogs are also wormed, Heartworm tested. $50.00 goes to the cost of spay/neuter and rabies. We take cash only, no checks, or credit cards. Because most of our dogs in the kennel are strays, we do not have any knowledge about each individual dog's background, so we cannot make any health claims or behavior assurances concerning our dogs. Stray dogs are held 72 hours before being placed for adoption. 501c3 Rescue Organizations may pull a dog at a reduced rate, but must provide proof of non-profit status. When adopting a dog from a public facility, that information is considered public record.
