When a Dutch Shepherd Rescue refused to help mix breed puppies, a German Shepherd Rescue stepped in. The dogs were tagged as American Staffordshire Terriers and time was ticking for them in a kill shelter. Give A Dog A Home, a German Shepherd Rescue in San Antonio has put a rescue hold on the puppies to save them from euthanasia. According to Jenny Cope at the rescue, the following messages was posted on the German Shepherd Dog Community Group Facebook page:
These pups are tagged in a kill shelter as American Staffordshire Terriers, which I think they have totally the wrong shaped head. They are only 10 weeks old, so still a lot of developing, but was wondering if anyone had any experience with Dutch Shepherds.
