German Shepherd covered in motor oil needs months of recovery

See also

The German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GSROC) recently rescued a female Shepherd who was found near a truck shop. The dog was covered in motor oil and also suffering from mange. Named ZigZag, she was put on IV fluids due to severe dehydration.

ZigZag is now under the care of GSROC and a critical care vet due to the nature of her injuries. She is barely a year old and indications of long-term neglect are evident on her body. Rescuers describe her as having a sweet nature despite a rough start in live.

Vets are giving ZigZag a daily medicated bath as part of her healing and recovery. Donations are being accepted to help with the expenses. To donate directly to GSROC please visit www.gsroc.org or you can purchase a fundraising product on HendrickBoards. Every purchase yields a $10 donation for ZigZag.
