Her condition is absolutely heartbreaking. Why hasn't the shelter at least taken the time to clean her eyes and prescribe an antibiotic?
Saving Carson Shelter Dogs

UPDATE: At the time of the original story, the PetHarbor listing indicated this dog was only two-years-old. On Thursday, the information has been changed by Carson Animal Care indicating the dog is 12-years-old. Let's get her out of there.

On September 3, this female German shepherd was brought into the Carson Animal Care Shelter, California; she will be available for adoption on September 7. Her condition is just heartbreaking. A volunteer writes on Wednesday:

"She is hard to look at because you can see all the pain and neglect she has been through, but you can also see the sweet lady that deserves so much better. Please take a look at this beautiful angel and SHARE; she seems to be older than two and has difficulty with getting up and down."

Make sure you watch her video by clicking here. Both eyes have a discharge, and she seems to be having trouble moving. This dog is hardly more than a baby. Please share her story, and let's get her some help. Forward this article to friends, family and coworkers. Sharing saves lives. Even if you are unable to help this dog now, just one person is all that is needed to make that special connection.
