Scotty is a three-year-old male, black and brown German shepherd who has been kept in isolation at the high kill San Bernardino City Animal Control.
According to a volunteer, Scotty is extremely stressed and cries out in desperation as he chews on his crate. When his teeth get stuck in the heavy wire, Scotty panics and screams louder trying to free himself. A volunteer states:
"We go rushing over to help, and Scotty calms down, but then his fear sets in again and it starts all over. I asked them to move him to a regular kennel where he can't bite the crate, but they didn't! He can't be in this kennel without supervision. If he gets hurts, we all know what happens. He needs to be moved to a regular kennel where he will be safe and have a better chance to be seem and to be rescued!"
Scotty will be eligible for rescue on April 9. Please refer to ID#A463287.
Make sure you watch his heartbreaking video and share Soctty's desperate plight with friends, family, and coworkers. Someone must have it in their heart to rescue this dog. Sharing saves lives.
