German shepherd and litter of puppies at San Bernardino City Animal Shelter

Fearful and scared, this beautiful German shepherd's future is unknown at this time. Named Elizabeth, this gorgeous dog has been assigned to Isolation Kennel #19 with her litter of five-week-old puppies. Volunteers have reported at least six puppies still being nursed.

Please refer to the following identifications when inquiring about the German shepherd A469481 and her babies: A469482 through 488.

The dogs are at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter, and further information reveals they have been confiscated from their owner and are not available immediately to be adopted. A volunteer writes this:

"I've called the shelter 3 times and she is's up to the judge if she gets to be adopted or go back to her owner..Im still going up on the 2nd..they said she's had a lot of people interested, so most likely it will be a lottery as to who can adopt her."

The shepherd's anticipated release date has been listed as August 2.
