Saturday is the day: Good, clean, old-fashioned hate.
I love the UGA-GT rivalry. It is just so intense. For many, myself included, it even tops Georgia-Florida in terms of being a “must-win” game. After all, It means bragging rights within the state of Georgia for an entire year.
This has been a horrible year for the Dawgs—I cannot imagine how anyone could argue otherwise. It would be nice to think that we could end the regular season on a high note and, of course, there is always hope to be found in the darkest of nights … but Saturday night looks to be pretty doggone dark for the Dawgs in Atlanta.
There has been talk among fans about Joe Cox sitting out as starting QB this week. An interesting idea, I suppose. My question is: What would be the point?
Look, it is too late to worry about sticking Joe Cox on the bench. He’s been head coach Mark Richt’s choice to lead the Dawgs into and throughout this miserable season, so why do it now? It is too late to get one of the other inexperienced QBs any truly productive time on the field, and there is no one with enough current experience to make one think that sitting Cox on the bench and bringing in someone else will do anything more than create additional and unnecessary chaos.
Georgia (6-5) v. Georgia Tech (10-1) is set to kickoff in Atlanta at 8:00 p.m. (EST). The game will be broadcast by ABC.

Hey, title9guy! Let me know as soon as you have it up ... gotta keep you in my list of favorites ... thanks for the cheer ... we need it this season, although I'm hoping the Lady Hoop Dogs are gonna really shine ... drop me a line on Facebook ... :)
Halftime, Dawgs ... so far, so good ... now, if we can just keep our minds focused on the field and not come back out daydreaming about where we are going for tacos after the game ... and stick with the heavy ground game ... let's give Russ a 1-0 start on the sidelines, guys ... Go Dawgs!
Got something to say?
