Georgia SPCA: Spotlight on Beignet and Bunny

Well, well. It's that time again. Puppy and kitten season has arrived at the Georgia SPCA in Suwanee, GA. Their back stories might be sad, but their futures are bright. They're looking for BFFs -- like you!

Beignet and Her Puppies

Beignet and her 5 pups were rescued from animal control just as they were scheduled to be put down. Beignet is heartworm positive and she and the pups need to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and dewormed. If you can help sponsor this sweet family, please donate via this "Chip In" link.

Bunny and Her Kittens

Bunny gave birth to five kittens at an animal control facility on Jan 8, and the next morning the GA SPCA staff rescued them along with seven puppies. If there are no medical complications, it typically costs us about $100 per animal to prepare a kitty for adoption, which includes spaying or neutering, medical tests and vaccinations, a microchip, and flea/tick/deworming treatment.

If you'd like to help sponsor Bunny and her kittens, please donate. If you're looking for a new lap-warmer with soft fur and a sweet smile, adopting Bunny (or a kitten or two) might be the answer to these cold winter nights.
