Georgia's weekend forecast for the state resident planning a trip within state borders this weekend is going to please a lot of people.
As far north as Dade County the weather promises to be sunny with seasonably warm temperatures ranging from 59 to 67 degrees. Expect cloudy skies by Sunday, but the warm air will make up for it.
In Central Georgia it gets even better, with temperatures ranging from 67 to 73 degrees and mostly sunny skies according to Weather.com. So it might be safe to say you can put away the umbrella and the heavy snow boots--at least for a couple of days.
South Georgia promises the hint of summer this weekend, climbing into the upper 70s with sunshine promised for the next three days. And hopefully it will stay that way, as the 2013 Southeastern Flower Show and Auction in Atlanta is just around the corner, beginning next Friday, March 15.
The Flower Show organizers are promising a slew of wonderful displays, speakers and vendors at the annual event celebrating its 25th year, so if you ever wanted to see flowers, plants, landscaped gardens, crafts and antiques all under one roof--along with some spectacular expert speakers--now's the time to attend.
