HGTV continues to talk houses in unique ways as New Year 2014 approaches. And their latest endeavor involves a Georgia woman named Joanna "JoJo" Jones from Macon, according to a Dec. 28 Middle Georgia news source called The Telegraph. The Georgia realtor will co-star on the upcoming new "Beat the House" television show for the popular home-focused company.
And when the first show airs on Jan. 7 at 11 p.m. ET, "JoJo" could end up being dressed in almost any outfit imaginable based upon her willingness to show a home at the client's convenience. She's come dressed in her tennis clothes before and dressed as her character in a local play, when she was wearing a nun's habit. But regardless of the clothes she wears, she wants potential home buying customers who watch the show to know that she's the real deal: trustworthy and unwilling to sell them a home they will not love.
HGTV's "Beat the House" will pitt this Southern charmer against a Northern real estate expert. And it is the War Between the States all over again. Jones will be "big on personality" while Christopher Kromer will be big on "New York know-it-all". And when the seven taped episodes air each week on HGTV the world will get to see which is better according to home buyers brought on the show: a woman who wants them to like her and their home years after they trusted her enough to buy it, or a man who can sell them one bigger and more expensive than they originally wanted to buy.
It had to happen sooner or later, the reality show impact on the home buying market. And who better than a home and garden television operation to oversee it and promote it? If you want a new home and don't want to have to pay for it, consider entering a dream home sweepstakes. And definitely check out how you can increase your odds of winning the HGTV Dream Home 2014 in Lake Tahoe. Then you don't have to beat the house or figure out which real estate agent you should trust.
