Appling, GA- Wildwood Park Campground (975 acres) was voted Best Campground in Columbia County by Metro Atlanta readers of the Columbia County Magazine. With access to Clarks Hill lake (72,000 acres) known for its fishing and boating activities, and tournaments like FLW, Bassmasters, BFL, Georgia Bass Federation, and American Bass Anglers, will hold Georgia Kayak Fishing GKF CnP April 12-14, 2013. For food, fellowship, paddling and the first fishing tournament of three for kayak fishing enthusiasts.

The park also offers disc golf, hiking and bike paths along with superb fishing:
Friday night arrive at your convenience for Potluck Supper, and bring a dish to share as people arrive. Saturday, early breakfast, all day on the water, with shade, snacks and drinks provided. Dinner and camp stories. Sunday breakfast, paddle and pack up camp and head out by 5 PM.

Cost. Fee covers dinner on Friday and Saturday night and shuttle service to the lake:
- Non-supporting members $40,
- Supporting members $36,
- Benefactors $30,
- Lifetime members $20
Camping fees at Wildwood RV $20 a day, Primitive $10 a day. There is a tournament in town so book your reservations as soon as possible.
Park entry/parking $3 for vehicle, $6 for vehicle with trailer.
