When? Hard to say. But his trajectory toward prison is as solid as the earth’s rotation around the sun. Zimmerman is to incarceration as the sun rising is to the east.
This column hears you. But he got away with murder. Why, yes he did. But he shows no signs of changing.
The only situation that would preclude the zaftig crime fighter from 3 hots and a cot, as they say, is something fatal.
Please folks. No eye for eye revenge. However, Zimmerman could pick a fight with someone armed with more than just a bag of candy.
Or the old ticker could go. Seriously. That is a lot of weight to carry around.
But back to topic.
Zimmerman’s wife just pled guilty to lying about their finances inre the initial bail hearing. She did receive probation and community service. Hubby was MIA at her court appearance. Nice job George. Too busy protecting random neighborhoods?
The significant part of her story is the fact that she left her husband the day before he killed Trayvon Martin. Usually the spouse- in this case allegedly battered and abused- is the most at risk. But if she is unavailable or accompanied by a young male friend- then all hell breaks loose.
Zimmerman, it has been claimed, sexually abused a young relative and was charged with abusing a former girlfriend. (Among other illegal actions.)
See a pattern?
Combined with the arrogance, lies, insensitivity, lack of remorse and evidence of deep-seated rage there are more adventures with Zimmerman to unfold.
And it is doubtful that any of the scenarios will involve altruistic compassion or helping others.
Except for fake accident stories.
Yes folks can change. As Wayne oft states: It could happen.
But not until he stops touring gun factories and seeks professional anger management treatment.
Again, and reiterated until it is done: The Martins have to sue Zimmerman in civil court. Before he replaces Wayne LaPierre as the spokesperson for the NRA or becomes Bill O’Reilly’s foil on the Fox network.
And Mrs. Zimmerman. You can do better.
