Without question, George Takei was slated to be one of the top presenters this year at Dragon Con. His popularity and fame have skyrocketed in the last few years, and his facebook page has been a global sensation. Every day his millions of follwers look to him for snippets on life, inspiration, humor, and a bit of wisdom. George is aware of his amazing fan support, and utilizes his unique standing to share platforms that are important to him with the rest of the world.
Speaking at Dragon Con was no different for George. Members waited for hours to have a coveted spot to hear him speak.
