George Perez draws fans as well as drawing for his fans at Megacon 2013 (Photos)

Yesterday at the Mega Convention 2013 an encounter with George Perez, who has inked and penciled for both DC and Marvel comics, made his attendees happy by providing his phenomenal artistic abilities per the request of his fans.

Perez was doing what he does best, drawing great head shots of both Marvel and DC characters for as fans waited in line for their favorite hero or villain to be drawn. He's not only fast, but also does fascinating artwork at efficient speed.

He was also promoting services for the Heroes Initiative which his an attempt to aid artists in dire need of medical, financial, and any other resources to put food on the table. If anyone has heard the term "starving artist", it appears that a great contribution to that cause has been discovered.

Additional artists across the floor of Megacon had been taking $1 donations per signature autograph to help the cause in order to provide this great financial safety net for artists in need.

You can watch as George Perez presents his drawing gift to the public.
