Known as "The Maker" to legions of Star Wars fans, George Lucas, and his longtime girlfriend Mellody Hobson, are now engaged to be married. The news first broke earlier today via Kiki Von Glinow at The Huffington Post.
Lucas recently retired and sold LucasFilm to Disney for $4 Billion and then announced he was donating most of the money from sale to his education foundation.
No other information has been provided from his PR people other than to confirm the engagement.
