"Tied one on last night. Not feeling great this morning," Lopez explained in a statement to the celeb gossip site. "I was trying to sleep it off, unfortunately, it was on the casino floor."

According to CTV News, Lopez was arrested when police were called to Canadian casino Caesars Windsor after he was found passed out on the floor. Officers with the Casino Enforcement Unit found the 52-year-old comic at 10:49 p.m. on Thursday night and turned him over to Windsor police shortly after 11 p.m. for being allegedly intoxicated in a public place.

The actor had performed at the casino earlier that night, but hours later a pic of his intoxicated escapades was posted to Twitter by a casino guest.

Lopez, who famously received a liver transplant in 2005 after his ex-wife Ann donated one of her kidneys to him, is set to star in the new FX sitcom, “Saint George.” The actor will play a successful Mexican American entrepreneur who must deal with aging and dating following a divorce.

“Saint George” premieres on March 6 on FX.
