A George Clooney pizza box is arousing plenty of attention ever since someone posted a picture of the cardboard container online. Buzzfeed noticed the questionable likeness of George Clooney on the pizza box sold in Haslach, Germany and pointed it out to their readers on Feb. 18, 2013.
Of course, there is no evidence to suggest that the handsome actor authorized his likeness to be used to peddle pizza, or that he is even aware of it. In fact, it is not even a certainty that the distinguished gentleman dressed in white is even Clooney himself. With a little imagination, he could be a young Leonard Cohen, Anthony Bourdain or just a good-looking European who made a few Euros posing for pizza.
Yahoo! quoted one pizza lover who said, "Are you kidding me?!!! I bought this same pizza box from a place in Val d'Isere, France (a skiing village) a couple of years ago and posted a photo to FB immediately. Thought it was the funniest thing ever"
Nonetheless, the George Clooney pizza box is making waves, and plenty of witnesses have come forward to say his likeness is not the result of clever photoshopping. It's a real pizza box spotted in various European cities since at least 2010. Check it out here.
