George Clooney pays: Actor picks up stranger's tab

George Clooney pays a stranger's bill while visiting Berlin, Germany. On Jan. 29, TV Guide reported that the actor participated in a "random act of kindness" by picking up someone's tab. According to the report, Clooney did this out of consideration for a businessman who was enjoying dinner nearby Clooney's loud table.

"Worried that his party had been too loud, Clooney took care of the businessman's $134.66 meal at Grill Royal restaurant on Friday — something the stranger didn't realize until he tried to get the check," TV Guide reported. The businessman reportedly told the press that Clooney and his dinner guests "behaved in a very cultivated manner."

When George Clooney pays your dinner bill, it is kind of a big deal. The businessman, however, didn't even recognize the actor (who has been in films like "Ocean's Eleven," "The Descendants," and "Up in the Air") but made sure to leave his business card on George's table so that he may one day return the favor.

Naturally paying a hundred bucks for someone's meal isn't an earth-shattering accomplishment for any celebrity, but it is nice to hear that Clooney was considerate of the people around him. The businessman said that Clooney and guests were not rowdy at all, but George took the initiative anyway. It is unknown who Clooney was dining with.

Something suggests that George Clooney pays for bills a lot.
