Actor George Clooney continues to laugh off the gay rumors. In an interview with Esquire published on December 4, the 52-year-old bachelor who is now back on the market after a split from Stacy Keibler, told the magazine that he just doesn't want to offend the gay community by publicly denying the rumors about his sexuality.
The former People's Magazine "Sexiest Man Alive" is back in the spotlight after the release of his latest movie "Gravity" and now that he is a single man again, internet rumors are surfacing again. Clooney first he shared his views on social media by calling anyone famous a "moron" for being on Twitter and allowing nosey people in on their lives and then he address the ever present gay rumors and recalled one of the most exaggerated rumors.
He told Esquire:
"[A headline read] 'George Clooney's gay-gay-gay.' And I said, 'I'm gay-gay. The third one's pushing it.' We'll now, [according to the internet] I'm gay. You're not going [to deny it] because that's flat out insulting to the gay community."
Clooney's full interview will be in the January issue of Esquire where he talks about being a celebrity and also addresses plastic surgery rumors.
As far as rumors flying around about his sexuality, speculation will be there until Hollywood's most eligible bachelor is officially off the market. As for now, Clooney is just looking for the perfect woman and recently addressed another rumor about his eternal bachelorhood by simply stating:
"I haven't met her yet."
