How does a chance to pre-order the 2013 Little Rhody Geocoin while enjoying some great food and friends sound?
Good, right? Then be sure to mark the evening of January 26th on your calendars. Geocachers and even their Muggle acquaintances are invited to attend.
A limited menu of food and draft beer will be available.
And what about that Geocoin? This year's Little Rhody coin is going to be a hermit crab in its moonstone snail shell. The coins will be approximately the size of a quarter and will be available in Antique Silver (regular edition), and Antique Brass (Local Edition) with a unique icon. If you attend the event, you qualify for the local edition. Reservations and payments for the coins will be conveniently taken at the event. There will only be one minting of the coin, so be sure to reserve yours while you are there!
