With the warm weather upon us, geocaching isn't the only thing suddenly receiving a great deal of attention. Our appetites for enjoying good food with fellow geocachers is also in full swing. The tradition of joining a community of individuals with a common interest always includes a bite to eat, sharing stories, trading travel bugs, and planning for the next big hunt.
The Southern New England Geocachers (SNEG) are planning their next get together for June 15th. The 54th Meet & Eat is scheduled to start at 7pm at the Blue Dog Sports Bar and Grille located at 110 South Main St. in Milford, MA.
Plenty of other get-togethers are already planned as well. From cookouts to picnics, local geocachers have already lined-up a number of events that include great food and a fun afternoon of cache hiding-and- seeking.
