Geocaching Massachusetts: Explore the Newton Villages

Just outside Boston, is the city of Newton, Massachusetts.  While the city has only one name, it is known to be made up of individual "villages."  While some may say there are 14 in all, local geocacher "findit" "owns" a series of caches that take visitors on a great tour of the city through 13.  While the "villages" have no legally defined borders, almost all have their own zip code, and their own personality.

Offering a unique perspective, the caches have successfully been in place since 2009.  Childhood memories were the inspiration for the hides, and while looking for each cache, be sure to take in the local sights, shops, and check the cache's listing at the geocaching.com website for interesting historic information about each location.
