Gentle seniors rescued from an inhumane situation are now desperate for a home

Two, 10-year-old pit bulls were taken to the Contra Costa Animal Services facility in Martinez, Calif., after animal control officers were alerted to the fact that the elderly dogs were living in inhumane conditions.

The dogs, "Hercules," and "Zeus," have since endeared themselves to the volunteer and staff at the facility and those who have had the privilege of getting to know them are hopeful that a loving home can be found to accommodate the dogs for the remainder of their golden years.

Only good things have been reported about the "elder bulls." Words such as "sweet," "affectionate," and "gentle as a baby," are tied to the pair; both dogs enjoy belly rubs, slow walks and receiving attention.

Zeus and Hercules have lived a difficult life and despite their hardships, they have maintained a sweet disposition. Please network this lovely older pair's information with the hopes that it leads to a new, loving family who wants nothing more than to provide good things to Zeus and Hercules.
