UPDATED 3.20.2014 FOUND! BACK AT HOME!
A family dog is missing, and his owner is desperate to have him home, Facebook: Pets Lost and Found of Upstate SC reported March 19.
A Pyrenees/Sherherd mix, who answers to Theodore, went missing the morning of March 17 in the Blacksburg area close to the York County line. This area is very close to the NC line.
His owner, Jason Stanko, is hoping someone in the upstate has seen Theodore wandering their neighborhood.
Theodore is wearing a red collar and is shaved around the neck where the collar lays. He's solid brown, described as a giant baby by Jason. Theodore is skittish of men, and it took a month for the dog to trust Jason. This dog really loves women and a soft voice. Theodore is also friendly with children and other dogs.
Please keep an eye out for Theodore, and also be safe with your own dogs. Social media plays a major role in reuniting lost pets with their owners. Lets get the word out that Theodore is lost, and that his family misses him.
If you've seen Theodore, please contact Jason at 864-425-4115 or 864-812-1764. Please share this article in the Blacksburg area, but keep in mind he may have been taken to another area or put up for sale on Craigslist. A lot of dogs have gone missing over the past year, some stolen out of their own yards.
