In the Book of Genesis (The First Book of Moses called Genesis) chapter one verses one through thirty one gives man the complete Creation account that God revealed to Moses. Even Jesus (God manifest in flesh : I Timothy 3:16) said in John 5:46-47, "For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?"

Scoffers, mockers and others who believe Genesis is just a myth cannot get past the first verse, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). They also say Genesis chapter one and chapter two contradict each other. But they are wrong because Genesis chapter two is talking about what happen on the sixth day of creation week when Adam (man) was created. God created the garden of Eden to put man in (Genesis 2:8)(Genesis 2:15) to take care of it. God created trees in this garden for food and He also created two special trees : the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:9). Only God can create living things, not man, or even Lucifer (Satan) who was created by God (Ezekiel 28:14-15). God used Moses and Aaron to create lice with the rod He gave them. But the magicians (Jannes and Jambres : 2 Timothy 3:8) could not and said it was the "finger of God" who created the lice (Exodus 8:16-19).

Moses personally talked to God on mount Sinai (Exodus 19:3) and God told Moses in Exodus 20:11, "For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: Wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." The "days" mentioned are the days in Genesis chapter one which are a 24 hour day because each day was an evening and a morning which were 12 hours each. These six days of creation week did not start until God created time in the beginning. There was no time before this because God is eternal and created time for man which will end one day in the future according to the Bible (Revelation 10:5-6). This will not happen until the Lord Jesus Christ has reigned a thousand years on the Earth (Revelation 20:6).

It is only by saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His written Word, the Holy Bible that you can believe in the Genesis Creation account. As a Christian you must "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3) and "to exhort and convince the gainsayers" (Titus 1:9), and the "scoffers" (2 Peter 3:3) in the last days of the Church age.
