Philicia Baugh, owner of The Baugh Agency, LLC and 1997 Florence Crittenton Alumna, has done it again.

The 2nd Annual Florence Crittenton Top Mommy event, designed to treat pregnant, unwed teens to a day of pampering followed by a professional photography session, was a complete success!

On Sunday, May 4, 2014, some of Charleston’s most sought after professionals came together to show love and tenderness for a group that is typically judged and frowned upon. In keeping with the compassionate spirit that has led to the organization we now know as Florence Crittenton Programs, the following individuals pooled their time and talents to not only celebrate these young ladies as they transition into motherhood, but also to share wisdom, inspiration and guidance:

Shana Lusk, owner of MJM Salon & Co – hair styling, nail services and makeup artistry;

Deacon Evelyn Locke, Evangelist DeJona Brown-Navarre and L. Ron Pringle – generous donation of lunch meal

Kaylee Holliday, owner of K. Holliday Photography – commemorative photo shoot

Kim Williams, owner of Shuga BéBé Couture – sweet desserts

Philicia Baugh, owner of The Baugh Agency, LLC – event coordinator, donation of framed portraits and Mother's Day gift bags

Baugh, whose goal for this event is to “empower, inspire and lead by example,” understands how easy it is for these young girls to feel unworthy and invalid. As a former Florence Crittenton resident, she has worked against the stereotypes and judgments, created a widely respected name for herself within the Charleston community and proven to the world that past mistakes do not define the individual, making her the perfect person to head up this significant project.
