General Hospital” has been throwing curve balls left and right at fans. Luke Spencer has been acting quite strange since he was locked up with Scott Baldwin at the Miscavige Institute. It was revealed that he is bankrolling the Julian Jerome organization, and that is not something a broke Luke Spencer would be able to do. According to an April 12 report from Celebrity Dirty Laundry, fans believe that Bill Eckert has returned and taken over Luke Spencer's life. Eckert was supposed to have died over a decade ago, but no one stays dead on “General Hospital.”

There are several hints that would lead fans to guess that Bill Eckert has found his way back to Port Charles. During the investigation into who was bankrolling Julian Jerome, Sonny Corinthos uncovered the guilty party was using Barrett Enterprises as a front. Eckert used to date Julia Barrett, which would connect the two even over a decade later.

Fans have been questioning Luke Spencer's antics for several weeks. Conversations he has had with other characters should be sending up red flags all over the place. Sonny Corinthos almost caught the imposter because of the conversation he had with Ric Lansing. “General Hospital” fans originally thought that the writers were going to kill off Luke Spencer because of rumored contract disputes, but it looks like they just brought back another old character.

May sweeps are on the horizon and fans believe this story line will play a huge role in garnering ratings for “General Hospital.” While Bill Eckert is the most likely suspect, there are still other possibilities. Jerry Jacks has been tossed around as a possibility and while there have been some supporting facts for that notion, the majority of fans believe Eckert is back. It looks like the importer will be exposed in a few weeks and the fallout from it could be too much for Port Charles to handle.
