Back in July, William deVry made his much anticipated “General Hospital” debut as art dealer Derek Wells. Shortly as his arrival, viewers would soon find out that Derek was actually Julian Jerome of the Jerome crime family and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) much talked about but never seen father. deVry is no stranger to memorable soap opera roles, having appeared on “The Bold and the Beautiful” as Storm Logan who selflessly sacrificed his life to save his sister Katie (Heather Tom) and on “All My Children” as Michael Cambias, the man who raped Bianca (Eden Riegel). As the resident “bad” mobster in Port Charles, could Julian’s days be numbered? Julian’s return to Port Charles could save the life of his grandson but could he also find out that he has a son?
Daytime TV Examiner recently caught up with the Emmy-nominated deVry at this year’s Hollywood Christmas Parade. During the video interview, the actor shared his thoughts on being on the long running ABC soap, his daytime career and also shared his holiday plans and family traditions.

“General Hospital” airs weekdays on ABC.
