'General Hospital' spoilers: Kirsten Storms bringing Maxie back to Port Charles

Kirsten Storms is ready to return to “General Hospital,” and fans are thrilled. Storms has been away from Port Charles for a bit after giving birth to her daughter Harper, but she tweeted an update for fans on Feb. 24 that is full of good news.

Storms shared, “Just spoke with @valentinifrank. Very excited to return to work next week. I wonder what Maxie has been up to on her vacation....” Of course “General Hospital” tapes quite a bit ahead of when the shows air, so fans will have to wait until spring before Maxie is seen in Port Charles again. What does the show have in store for her character when she returns? That much is under wraps for now, but fans are anxious to see what lies ahead.

What do you hope will come about for Maxie this spring when Kirsten Storms returns to “General Hospital”? There have been quite a few shake-ups with the cast in early 2014, particularly with Kimberly McCullough heading off the show again, so this seems like a great time for Storms to return. “General Hospital” airs weekdays on ABC.
