Fans are on the edge of their seats since it was confirmed that Sean Kanan (ex AJ) will return to the soap next month.
The news of Kanan’s return was confirmed exclusively by TV Guide journalist Michael Logan. According to Logan, Kanan’s role on the show is being kept strictly confidential.
‘GH is one of those places I never thought I'd see again and that makes what's happened even more exciting. My life has changed completely since those days. I'm newly married and have a baby on the way. I also have an 11-year-old daughter and four stepchildren. I'm not the guy I used to be,’ Kanan told Logan.
According to Kanan, he’s been put on contract with the soap. That’s good news for those of us who have missed the actor’s presence in Port Charles.
Kanan’s version of AJ was last seen on ‘General Hospital’ in 1997. Watch for him to first appear October 27.
Word is that Burton and his family recently relocated to Nashville.
Finally, the daytime community is mourning the passing of John Ingle (Edward). The 84-year-old actor lost his long battle with cancer. Ingle’s final ‘GH’ air date was on September 11.
In happier news, actress Carolyn Hennesy (Diane) makes her way back to ‘GH’ soon. The popular actress shared the good news recently on Twitter.
Finally, watch Kelly Monaco (Sam) compete on ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Monday nights at 8pm. Monaco made it through week one of the competition, but will she be saved again this week?
‘General Hospital’ airs weekdays at 2pm on Detroit’s local ABC affiliate WXYZ Channel 7.
