Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash welcomed baby Harper Rose to the world
Rene Thurston, Riverside Soap Opera Examiner

"General Hospital" stars Brandon Barash and Kirsten Storms' new bundle joy has finally arrived, and on Thurs., Jan 9, the actor finally revealed the name for their precious new baby girl on his Twitter account.

"General Hospital" airs weekdays on Riverside ABC affiliate KABC channel 7.

Barash shared, "Does said princess have a name, you ask... @teenystweeting #harperrosebarash" along with a photo of the name tag on daughter Harper Rose Barash's hospital crib.

Storms also Tweeted the first photo of baby Harper Rose on Thursday.

The actor, who formerly played mob prince Johnny Zacharra on the hit ABC soap, announced the birth on Twitter on Jan. 7, Tweeting, "our passenger has touched down and arrived. Welcome to our world. There has not been a more fulfilling day."

Many of the couple's co-stars have sent their well wishes, including close friend and Barash's Port Chuck band mate Bradford Anderson, who shared on his Facebook page the day after the announcement, "What amazing news to wake up to. Two of my favorite people have created what is surely a superbeing. The world is a better place today."

It seems there's something in the water at "General Hospital" as Anderson himself just shared he and wife Keira are expecting their second child, a girl, in May, bringing a new baby sister for daughter Juna.

Perhaps cast mate Teresa Castillo (Sabrina) will end up in the hospital along with Anderson's wife as she is also expecting a girl in May. Interestingly, her character is also pregnant on "General Hospital," which is lucky for Castillo as she won't have to work to hide her baby bump as Storms did during her final scenes before her maternity leave.

Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash married in a small ceremony last June, and shortly thereafter, announced they were expecting. Barash left "General Hospital" last year, while Storms will return after maternity leave to reprise the role of Maxie Jones, who is currently off canvas "finding herself."
