Sometimes it takes a brush with death to realize what and who is really important to us in life. For Luke Spencer, his brush with death has made him realize that what he doesn’t want in life is loneliness. On the November 4 episode of “General Hospital”, Luke confessed his love to Tracy and Robin got to see her family although they didn’t know who she was.
There is no doubt to anyone who has watched “General Hospital” for years that Laura is Luke’s (Anthony Geary) true soulmate, but is it possible for a person to have more than one soulmate? Tracy (Jane Elliot) is certainly skeptical as she continues to protect her heart when it comes to Luke even when he has offered her the “whole enchilada”. On Monday, Tracy became annoyed with Luke as he tried to call Anna (Finola Hughes). Tracy was upset because of the sacrifices she has made to save his life and get him the cure. She doesn’t feel fully appreciated until Luke told her that he wants to give her all of him. He has realized how important she is to him and Tracy has realized how much she loves Luke but with his history of taking off, she doesn’t want to expose her love just to be disappointed again. She also wants Luke to make sure he is completely cured which is the reason she dissuaded him from calling Anna. Just in case the cure doesn’t work, she wants Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche) to remain assessable. The true reason may be that Tracy wants Luke all to herself. She may not have anything to worry about since Luke has promised that his love for her is genuine.
Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) wants her life and family back, especially after being able to hear Patrick’s (Jason Thompson) voice and being able to hug her daughter Emma. But Robin wasn’t able to reveal who she was to those she loves and had to run from Patrick who wanted to thank her for helping Emma. Unbeknownst to Patrick, he was chasing his “dead” wife who couldn’t allow him to recognize her. Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) was able to stop him from entering the room Robin was in and convinced Patrick that the woman he was trying to was his nanny. Patrick became suspicious, especially after Emma told him that the woman did speak English to her. Later Nik reminded Robin of the consequences of being seen but also promised her that she will return home soon.
At Wyndemere, Duke (Ian Buchanan) found Faison (Anders Hove) and held him at gunpoint. Dr. Obrecht, pretending to be Anna, tried to convince him to allow her to arrest him but Duke quickly became suspicious and realized Dr. Obrecht was behind the mask and ordered her to take off the mask. Once she finally revealed herself, Duke ordered both of them to tell him where the real Anna was. But, the dangerous duo was able to get the upper hand on Duke and threw him in the tunnel of Wyndemere right before Nik, Britt and Robin returned. Now that Duke is trapped in Wyndemere, will he discover Robin or will she discover him?
Elsewhere in Port Charles, Britt (Kelly Thibaud) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) had a verbal catfight over Nik. Elizabeth doesn’t want Nik to get hurt and Britt just wants Elizabeth to back off and that she is in no position to throw stones.
