Ronn Moss is joining "General Hospital" according to Soap Opera Digest on Monday. The addition of Moss to the Port Charles canvas comes right on the heels of Michelle Stafford joining the show as Nina Clay. While few details about his character are available yet, fans won't have to wait for long to see how he is added to the mix.

Many soap opera fans know Ronn Moss from his many years playing Ridge Forrester on "The Bold and the Beautiful.” Though it has yet to be revealed exactly who he will be playing on "General Hospital," Moss will make his first appearance in Port Charles this week. With the Nurses' Ball beginning the middle of the week, as noted via the “General Hospital” spoilers from She Knows Soaps, it seems very likely that his character will first appear in conjunction with that event.

There has been a lot of movement among the soaps in the casting department as of late, and many of the changes are coming as big shockers for fans. While it had been speculated for quite some time that Stafford would be joining "General Hospital," the news about Ronn Moss seems to be a stunner. So far there is no word out regarding how long he will be in Port Charles.

How will Ronn be incorporated into the mix of things? Given the landscape of Julian, Sonny, Ava and the Nurses' Ball, nevermind Luke and whatever is happening there, it would seem there is plenty of opportunity for a new power player to come in and shake things up. Will Ronn Moss be a good guy coming to save the day or a character with nefarious intentions? Fans cannot wait to find out the answer to that question, and they should get an inkling of what lies ahead this week. "General Hospital" airs weekdays on ABC.
