Fans who are enjoying the return of classic 'General Hospital' characters will love what’s in store for the coming year.
‘Soaps in Depth’ reports that Jon Lindstrom will return as Dr. Kevin Collins at the end of this month. Longtime fans remember Kevin’s on again, off again romance with Lucy (Lynn Herring).
‘… Lucy gets herself into a pretty major jam during February sweeps and, when that happens, she receives a surprise visitor. That is Kevin. When he arrives, you'll find out why you haven't seen him yet, why she hasn't mentioned him and what is the status of their relationship,’ head scribe Ron Carlivati told ‘Soaps in Depth.’ about Kevin's return.
Watch for Jon Lindstrom’s much anticipated return on January 30.
Fans are over the moon at the news that ‘GH’ vet Genie Francis will bring back the beloved and missed Laura Spencer in February.
Watch for Francis to air February 11.
With the return of Francis, fans are certain that Kin Shriner (Scotty) won’t be far behind. So far there hasn’t been any official word as to Shriner’s return.
Finally, with all the characters from the past returning, many are wondering when and if Jack Wagner’s Frisco Jones will hit town.
In other ‘GH’ news, Steve Burton (ex Jason Morgan) did indeed confirm his new role on ‘the Young and the Restless.’ Burton broke the official news on last Monday’s ‘The Talk.’ Watch for him to begin airing January 29.
