As secrets unraveled last week on “General Hospital”, Nathan was left picking up the pieces of his new family connections. Ned (Wally Kurth) returned just in time to raise more doubt and suspicion about the man who appears to be Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary). Another kind of secret continued to haunt the guilt of Sonny (Maurice Benard). Ava (Maura West) was there for Sonny but not there for Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise), who was arrested in connection with the murder of A.J. Quartermaine. Here’s what to expect this week on “GH.”
Who is Luke’s imposter? The answer may be revealed by one of Port Charles’ younger residents. This week Spencer will confront his uncle Luke about his intentions to take down his uncle Sonny and Sonny walks in just as Luke tries to keep Spencer quiet. Ned is another person trying to figure out Luke and turns to Kiki (Kristin Alderson) and Morgan (Bryan Craig) for help. The two working together causes a jealous reaction from Ava.
Morgan and Kiki are the least of Ava’s concerns because Carly (Laura Wright) is on to her and no one is better at pushing buttons than Carly. Franco (Roger Howarth) is also on to Ava and decides he will go through Carlos to get to Ava. Heartbreak sends Ava to cry on Sonny’s shoulder, but not before she gives Carlos a warning, a threat that involves the safety of Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) and her baby.
Speaking of Sabrina, this week when she shows up for Emma’s special event, Patrick (Jason Thompson) is touched, but Emma has conflicted emotions about having a baby brother. Tragedy may draw Patrick and Sabrina closer together as they both fear for their son. Will Ava come through on a timely threat?
A.J. is finally laid to rest this week, but his ghost continues to haunt Sonny. The guilt may get in the way as Sonny tries to comfort Michael (Chad Duell). Monica (Leslie Charleson) is in no way happy when Sonny shows his face as her son’s funeral. She will have no problem giving him a piece of her mind.
Liz living with Nikolas will draw some close moments between the two old friends. Will old sparks of passion erupt once again? Not if Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has anything to say about it. He interrupts a close moment between the two and remains determined to win Liz’s love. Britt will also have something to say about a possible romance between Nik and Liz, but she will be distracted when her Nathan questions her about their mother.
Down the road: Carlos confesses to a crime. Madeline (Donna Mills) has yet another secret and shares that secret with Nathan. Alexis and Ned reunite and has a talk about their past together. Patrick and Sabrina refuse to leave the side of their newborn son. Shawn threatens to tell T.J. the truth about Jordan as she continues to work for the Jeromes.
