3-4 September – The National Archives Virtual Genealogy Fair will provide a two-day program of lectures and genealogy help. For lecture schedule and how to view the live broadcast, read the information on the archives.gov website.
4, 18 September – Gwinnett Genealogy Study Group will conduct organizational and planning meetings. For locations, schedule and more information contact Terry Manning or Stan Bevers.

13 September – “Oglethorpe’s Folly: The Founding of Georgia” will be presented by Terry Manning. The monthly free lunch and learn will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Georgia Archives, 5800 Jonesboro Rd, Morrow, GA 30260.
16 September – “How was your summer?” a time to share research trips and tips will be held at the Northlake-Barbara Loar Library, 3772 LaVista Rd, Tucker, GA 30084. The program is sponsored by the Genealogy Study Group. The program will start at 10:15 a.m.
21 September – “We’ll Back Our Boys! The Southern Home Front During World War II” a symposium at the National Archives at Atlanta. 5 October – “Clues in Finding Ancestors” will be presented by Maureen Taylor. The program is sponsored by the Georgia Genealogical Society. The program will be held at the Dunwoody United Methodist Church, 1548 Mt. Vernon Rd, Dunwoody, GA.
